who am I
Hi, I'm Alicia
I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with a background in midwifery. Sprout Lactation is warm, judgement free support for you and your baby, whatever your feeding journey looks like.
Every family comes to me at a different point. Some are in the early newborn days, some are working through pain, low supply or a fussy feeder, and some just want a bit of reassurance that things are on track. Wherever you are, we start with what matters to you.
My approach is practical and gentle. We talk, we watch a feed, and we work out a plan that fits your baby and your real life at home. There is no single right way to feed, and no pressure to do it any particular way.

Do I need a referral?
No referral needed. You can book a consultation directly through this website.
What happens in a consultation?
We talk through your history and goals, I assess a feed, and you leave with a personalised feeding plan. Your initial consultation also includes a week of text support afterwards.
Can I claim a rebate?
I’m a Medibank Registered Provider. Depending on your level of cover you may be able to claim a rebate for lactation consultations. Check with your health fund.
Which areas do you visit for home consultations?
Home visits within a 25km radius of Thornlands. If you are more than 25km from Thornlands, travel fees may apply. Telehealth consultations are also available. (click here to see on the map)
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth suits families outside my home visit area, or anyone who prefers online support.
How and when do I pay?
Full payment is made at the time of booking.
