Hi, I’m Alicia— Lactation Consultant, Midwife, Mum, and Passionate Advocate for Breastfeeding Mums.
As a mum to two beautiful children, I know firsthand that feeding your baby isn’t always as straightforward as it’s made out to be. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to walk alongside other mums—offering professional, compassionate breastfeeding support so you can feel confident, informed, and truly supported in your journey.
My approach is gentle, non-judgmental, and tailored to your unique situation. Whether you’re navigating those early days of latching, dealing with nipple pain, or figuring out how to balance feeding with everything else life throws at you—I’m here to help you thrive, not just survive.

While breastfeeding can be a deeply rewarding experience for many parents and babies, it’s not uncommon to encounter challenges along the way. These difficulties can make the journey feel overwhelming, especially in the early days. Understanding what’s normal—and knowing you’re not alone—can be reassuring.
Most common breastfeeding concerns include:
- Nipple pain or damage
- Poor latch
- Tethered oral tissues (e.g., tongue tie)
- Oversupply or low milk supply
- Flat or inverted nipples
- Breast refusal
- Breast Engorgement
- Mastitis (inflammation or infection of the breast)
With the right support, most of these issues can be managed or resolved, helping you move forward with confidence and comfort in your breastfeeding journey.
Breast pump Hire
Quality hospital grade breast pumps are expensive and often only required for a few weeks to get through a breastfeeding glitch or build up a milk stash before a holiday or event.
We have spectra breast pumps for hire for families located near or in the Redlands Brisbane area. Delivery can be arranged if required.
$25 per week + security deposit
A refundable security deposit of $100 applies for all hires. This will be refunded on return of the breast pump. Individual spectra expressing kits will need to be purchased at $29.95 each. Each set includes 1 breast shield, 1 back flow protector, 1 valve and tubing. Bottles not included.
